Groton City Animal Hospital joined the Relay For Life last year and we had a blast!! We raised over $4,300 (Thanks to our friends, families and clients!!) and we would like to raise even more money this year!
We all joined this amazing event because every single one of us at the Groton City Animal Hospital have been in one way or another touched by this terrible disease.
    This Relay celebrates those who have survived cancer, remembers the people we've lost, and fights back by supporting the lifesaving mission of the American Cancer Society.

    If you have never attended a Relay For Life event, it is an experience of a lifetime.  The atmosphere is amazing; the Survivors lap, the walk around the track with the luminaries lit up, the feeling of togetherness, there really are no words to describe it!!  Last year's theme was DECADES.  We choice to decorate our tent site as the 60's decade as seen by Jackie all duded out.  This year the theme is the New Year, so we are planning on having a great time with that, come and check out our tent.

The Relay is being held on July 11-12, 2008 at the Lansing High School.

We are also having a can and bottle drive - our goal is to fill a stall in our barn with your contributions at the Groton City Animal Hospital!  You can drop off your cans and bottles during regular business hours or we can pick up large quantities.  The drive will go on until 7/1/08.  Call (607)898-4482 for details.

As another fundraiser we had hats made for GCAH.  They are being sold for $20 and all proceeds go towards our Relay For Life team.  They also include a Relay For Life pin.  If interested in purchasing a hat, please call the office at (607)898-4482 during our business hours.  Colors that are available are stone, tangerine and mustard.  The mustard (dark yellow) is the only one not shown in picture.
